Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the BluePay cashless tipping platform.

Effective Date: August 2026 Version 2.0 Republic of South Africa

1. Introduction & Binding Agreement

Welcome to BluePay. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BluePay platform, QR code lanyards, the BluePay mobile application, and supervisor dashboards. By scanning a BluePay QR code via the app, initiating a tip payment, registering as a guard, or accessing a venue dashboard, you accept these terms in full.

2. Platform Nature & Gratuity Service

BluePay is a financial technology ledger platform designed to facilitate voluntary cashless gratuities (tips) from drivers (payers) to verified car guards, security attendants, and service personnel (payees). BluePay is not a registered bank, does not provide credit, and does not employ guards directly or control their shifts, parking operations, or employment contracts.

3. Cash Bridge & Venue Reimbursements

Commercial venue partners ("Bosses") act as physical cash-out bridge points. Cleared digital ledger balances registered to guards are disbursed in cash from retail registers at shift end. BluePay reimburses the venue business via aggregated electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the venue's nominated bank account.

4. Payment Processing & Non-Refundability

Payments are processed securely via our registered payment service provider. Because tips represent immediate voluntary gratuities credited to workers' ledger accounts and often cashed out daily, all completed tip payments are final and non-refundable, except in verified cases of technical duplicate billing or fraudulent card misuse.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
